By November the grass is no longer green, trees are starting to drop their leaves and wildflowers are gone, so this isn’t the best time if you’re after that fresh, nature-filled vibe but if you love that tall whispy dried grass look it can still be beautiful. With the right fall outfit November can be beautiful.
Winter: Unfortunately fields are rare options from mid-November through February.

Footwear matters. Open-toed shoes or heels are not the best choice for walking in uneven ground. Not only will you struggle to move gracefully through tall grass, but you may also come across fire ants, prickly weeds, hidden holes, and yes, even the occasional snake. Honestly you won't see much of your footwear choice in that tall grass either. Boots are best when shooting in a field. A stylish pair of boots not only looks great in photos, but also keeps you safe and comfortable as you navigate a field location.
